Begin the evening with a guided cemetery tour at 7:00 PM, exploring the lives and stories of Jackson’s past residents. At 8:00 PM, we transition into a hands-on paranormal investigation inside Bethany’s Home Sweet Haunted Home.
Named one of the most haunted places in America by Forbes, Bethany’s Home Sweet Haunted Home carries a well-documented past shaped by vice, survival, and constant change. Originally operating as a brothel before transitioning into a boarding house, the property remained tied to illegal gambling and drinking activity well beyond Prohibition. Its history includes documented murder, unexplained drownings, and deaths connected to nearby mine disasters.
Guests will investigate alongside the CalaSCAREus team using a variety of tools to explore and document potential activity while learning investigative techniques and historical context throughout the evening. Participants are welcome to bring their own equipment, though plenty will be available.
This is an interactive investigation—not a performance or haunted attraction—and is designed for those interested in a thoughtful, experience-based approach to the paranormal.

Extend your experience beyond the CalaSCAREus investigation with an overnight stay inside Bethany’s Home Sweet Haunted Home.
Following the 8:00–11:00 PM investigation, overnight guests will have continued access to the property for independent, self-guided investigation throughout the night—while also enjoying the comfort of a fully furnished home.
Each booking includes a private room for up to two guests. Additional guests may be accommodated in select rooms for $30 per person, where space allows.
Please Note:
• This is a separate ticket and does not include admission to the CalaSCAREus investigation
• All overnight guests must also have a ticket to the 7:00–11:00 PM event
• Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM
• Guests may sleep, investigate, or both—this is your time in the space
Space is extremely limited.
Room Assignments & Occupancy
Overnight bookings include a private room for up to two guests.
Additional guests may be added for $30 per person (we have rooms that can easily fit 4 or 5 (potentially a few more)- can discus with me ahead of time is concerned about party, and groups will be accommodated in rooms that best fit their size. Some rooms are larger and may include additional sleeping options such as bunk beds, futons, or air mattresses.
Rooms are assigned prior to arrival based on group size and availability.
To ensure your group is placed together, please purchase tickets under the same name.

For this CalaSCAREus investigation, we’ve been invited to explore the Calaveras County Museum after hours—when the buildings are quiet and the history has a way of settling in around you.
The museum is not just one structure, but a collection of Gold Rush–era buildings, including the original courthouse and jail. These spaces have witnessed generations of life in Calaveras County, including executions, murders, and the harsher realities of frontier justice. That history is part of what makes this location so compelling to investigate.
During the investigation, we’ll move through the museum after dark using professional equipment, combining historical context with hands-on paranormal investigation.
